Business   Events   Recreation   School   Sports		Roosevelt, Minnesota, is located between Warroad and Baudette on State Highway 11. Roosevelt is centrally located near Beltrami Island State Forest and Lake of the Woods. Also near Roosevelt is Zippel Bay State Park. Many people pass through this area on their way to fishing, snowmobiling, camping or some other outdoor activity. Thousands of people visit Roosevelt every year for the annual flea market on July 3rd and 4th. Over 60 booths with antiques and collectables fill the indoor arena. The city also provides food and an eating area to help complete this social event. The first weekend in August is also an attraction for visitors at the annual Steam and Gas Show, which is held at the Grove farm north of Roosevelt. This event provides a glimpse into the past of farming. There is a parade of old steam engines and tractors, as well as other historical exhibits. Also see the Lake of the Woods web site.
