Wikstrom Telephone Company, Inc. (hereinafter "Wiktel", "Company", "our", "us" or "we") is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our customers and business partners. During the course of providing our services, Wiktel will collect personally identifiable information about you, your preferences and the services we provide you. However, unless required to do so by law Wiktel does not sell or share your personally identifiable information (as defined below) to any third party or service provider, for any reason that is not directly related to providing you with products and services.
"Personally identifiable information" is information that defines a particular person; it does not include de-identified, anonymous, or aggregate data that does not identify a particular person or persons.

- information contained on your bill concerning the type of phone and Internet services and features you receive.
That information is known as "customer proprietary network information", or "CPNI" for short.
Wiktel considers the personally identifiable information contained in our business records to be confidential. The Act authorizes Wiktel as a service provider to disclose personally identifiable information or CPNI concerning any subscriber if the discloser is necessary to render, or conduct a legitimate business activity related to, the service or other services provided to the subscriber or if it is required by law.
We follow industry-standard practices to take such actions as are necessary to prevent unauthorized access to personally identifiable information by a person other than the subscriber or us. However, we cannot guarantee that these practices will prevent every unauthorized attempt to access, use, or disclose personally identifiable information.
Wiktel maintains personally identifiable information about you in our regular business records while you are a subscriber to our services. We also maintain this information for a period of time after you are no longer a subscriber if the information is necessary for the purposes for which it is collected or to satisfy legal requirements. These purpose typically include business, legal, or tax purposes. If these purposes no longer apply, we will destroy, de-identify, or anonymize the information according to our internal polices and procedures.
Wiktel operates the www.wiktel.com and certain affiliated websites, including our customer portal. One can visit and use our website with complete privacy. A website visitor can choose to provide customer-specific information by ordering a product or service or sending us an e-mail. Any information provided by a website visitor is held strickly confidential by Wiktel and will not be sold or provided to any other organization or business.
When you click links on our web site, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
