predication
[ pred-i-key-shuhn ] noun. the act of asserting or affirming something about a subject; in logic and grammar, the attribution of a quality, property, or relation to a subject through a predicate. "The philosopher examined the predication 'The oak is ancient,' noting that the predicate attributes the quality of age to the subject rather than identifying the tree itself."
Verse: “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” —Revelation 2 2:10 Read today: Proverbs 14, 15 |
